RERESO MOTOHAKONE offers two private villas in Moto-Hakone, Kanagawa.
Each villa has two bedrooms, its own natural hot spring bath, a spacious living and dining area, and a private deck.
Rooms
Akane
The living room features a traditional tatami area, ideal for families with young children or groups traveling together.
There are two bedrooms, each furnished with three single beds. Japanese futons can also be set up in the tatami area, allowing the villa to accommodate up to 8 guests.
The spacious layout makes Akane a comfortable choice for families and groups traveling together.

Ao
Ao is a sophisticated villa featuring a soft gray interior accented with deep indigo tones. The calm color palette and coordinated design create a refined and relaxing atmosphere.
There are two bedrooms, each furnished with two double beds, accommodating up to 8 guests.
The spacious bathroom features a free-flowing natural hot spring, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bath in a comfortable and private setting.
Ao is ideal for guests seeking a peaceful and refined stay in Hakone.

Private Hot Spring Baths
At RERESO MOTOHAKONE, each villa has its own private bath with continuously flowing natural hot spring water.
Bathing Guidelines:
Adjusting the Hot Spring Temperature
Our baths feature free-flowing natural hot spring water.
Please do not operate the hot spring valve in the bathroom. Keep the hot spring water flowing continuously during your stay.
If the water is too hot, use the provided stirring paddle to mix the water. If necessary, add cold water to adjust the temperature.
For your safety and to protect the hot spring equipment, please follow these instructions.

Four parking spaces are available on the property, directly in front of the villas.
Guests may park up to 2 vehicles per villa free of charge. -
Deck
The private deck has a large table and chairs, perfect for outdoor meals and barbecues.

BBQ Grill
A BBQ grill is available on your private deck, and its use is included in your accommodation rate.
We provide gas for the grill, a lighter, tongs, paper plates, and paper cups.
Please bring your own food and any additional seasonings. -
Private Garden
Each villa has its own private garden, accessible directly from the deck terrace. Enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time with your dog.
*For safety, please keep your dog on a leash at all times. -
Full Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, large refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, electric kettle, cookware, tableware, and cutlery, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay.
Basic seasonings, including cooking oil, salt, pepper, and soy sauce, are provided.
Please bring any additional seasonings you may need. -

FAQ
- Can I stay with my dog in both villas?
- Yes. As of April 1, 2026, dogs are welcome in both Akane and Ao.
- Is there an additional fee for bringing a dog?
- If charged per booking: The dog fee is JPY 5,000 per booking, regardless of the number of dogs.
If you book a dog-friendly package, the dog fee is included in the accommodation rate.
If you book a standard package, a dog crate and other dog amenities are not provided. If you would like to change from a standard package to a dog-friendly package, please contact us through the messaging system on the booking site you used.

- You may bring up to three small dogs per booking, each weighing 10 kg or less.

- Yes. Extended stays are also welcome.
- Is parking available?
- Yes. Four free parking spaces are available on the property.
Guests may park up to 2 vehicles per villa.
- How does check-in work?
- RERESO MOTOHAKONE offers contactless self-check-in.
After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with check-in instructions.
1. Before arrival: Please submit the required guest information no later than the day before you arrive.
2. Check-in on arrival: Follow the instructions provided to complete self check-in at the entrance to your villa.

- What is the maximum number of guests per villa?
- Each villa can accommodate up to 8 guests. We are unable to accommodate more than the maximum occupancy.
If we confirm that the number of overnight guests exceeds the number stated in your reservation, an additional fee of JPY 10,000 per person, per night will be charged in accordance with our accommodation policy.
Visitors who are not included in the reservation are also not permitted to enter the property.
- Can I watch Japanese TV channels?
- Yes. The TVs in both villas receive Japanese digital broadcast channels.
You can also access streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix. Please sign in using your own account to use these services.
- Do I need to reserve the BBQ grill in advance?
- No advance reservation is required.
A BBQ grill is available on your private deck, and its use is included in your accommodation rate.
Please bring your own food and any additional seasonings.
- Can I order food for a BBQ or other meals?
- You may bring your own food or order from one of our partner services.
If you place an order, please arrange delivery for a time when you will be available to receive it after check-in (3:00 PM or later).

- Are pajamas provided?
- No. Pajamas and other sleepwear are not provided. Please bring your own.
- What happens if I leave something behind?
- Items left behind are generally kept for one week from the date they are found.
If you would like a lost item shipped to an address in Japan, we can send it with shipping charges payable on delivery.
For hygiene reasons, food, beverages, and other items that cannot be stored safely may be disposed of immediately.

By Romancecar & Bus
Take the Odakyu Romancecar from Shinjuku Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station. From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take a Hakone Tozan Bus toward Moto-Hakone Port or Hakone-machi Port and get off at Futago-jaya.
RERESO MOTOHAKONE is approximately a 4-minute walk from the bus stop.
By Highway Bus
You can take the Odakyu Highway Bus “Shinjuku–Gotemba/Hakone Line” from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku).
Please note that the bus does not stop at Futago-jaya, the nearest bus stop to RERESO MOTOHAKONE, so you will need to transfer to a local bus within the Hakone area.
Destinations and stops vary depending on the service, so please check the latest timetable and route information before traveling.
